The Mental Benefits of Lifting

Here's something I'm VERY grateful for today. By God's grace, after months of dieting and exercising I'm almost to my goal weight of 205 pounds and my body fat percentage of 13 percent. Here's a pic I took a few minutes ago. 

I cannot thank the Lord enough! That said, even if my body never changed for the rest of my life, I would still lift weights every single week. The mental benefits of going to the gym far outweigh the physical benefits for me. The physical is just the icing on the cake.
