I was in one of my all-time favorite passages this morning for my Bible time.
Here we have three reminders from Paul:
1. Be assured that the Holy Spirit has given you a gift or capacity to serve. Nobody is left out.
2. Be assured that the Lord Jesus will assign you to the perfect place to exercise your Spirit-given gift if you will follow his lead.
3. Be assured that the Father is in charge of the "energizings" or outworkings of your gift. You can always count on him to empower you so that you will see success. All Christian service must be done in his energy, not ours.
This is the way to find your place in life and ministry.
