I have a full day today. It started off, as per usual, with personal Bible study. I always have my Greek with me, plus at least one English version.
Today I was in Hebrews 4 and Luke 4, comparing two passages that, I suspected, were related to each other since they both talk about the same person and the same topic.
See what I'm sayin'?
Then it was off to the gym -- yessiree, we take 1 Tim. 4:8 seriously around here ("Bodily exercise is all right, but spiritual exercise is much more important") -- to get in another full body workout. I always take pics to show to my personal trainer because I have no earthly idea what I am doing.
Yes, that's me, not Arnold. Livin' on the edge. |
Someone once said, "Try something every day that scares you." Today that "something" is cleaning the house. I am clueless about the entire process but the bathrooms need to be scrubbed and the bedding washed and dried so here's goes nothing. For real, I need YouTube to show me how to use toilet bowl cleaner.
One thing I know about myself is that I hate to be bored. Maybe I should become a 911 dispatcher. Or a Walmart greeter. Or a Greek teacher.
Happy Wednesday!
P.S. By the way, my thanks to the Journal of the Evangelical Society for publishing a review of my latest book.
