A half marathon is 13.1 miles long. Greek 1 covers 13 chapters of my textbook. Today we're in chapter 10. In racing terms, we're only half way through the class. I say "half way" because everyone who's ever run a half marathon knows that you expend 50 percent of your energy on the last 3 miles. For a marathon (26.2 miles), the halfway point is mile 20 (where you hit the proverbial "wall").
The point is -- you can't just breeze to the finish line!
