I just ordered this book from Amazon.
I did so because of a Youtube lecture the author gave at Hillsdale College. Believe it or not, I had never watched anything by Víctor Davis Hanson before today, but all that will change. The man is a brilliant lecturer. Not sure if he can write, but I'll find out soon enough. In case you didn't know, I am a big WWII fan and most of the books in my library that aren't about the Bible or Greek are about that conflict. Who knows why. Maybe it's because I grew up in a war zone (yes, Oahu, Kailua even, saw action in the war).
I am never happier than when I can't put a book down.
