Just bought a beginner's ukulele for the grandboys. Both their parents love music so I'm not surprised that they do also. They already have a banjo, fiddle, and mandolin. Now they have an instrument that's the perfect starter for anyone wanting to play the guitar. I cut my eye teeth on a ukulele in Hawaii, and that led me to being able to play the acoustic guitar and the electric bass. Below I'm playing the Kamaka I got when I was a kid.
Stay tuned for "Dueling Banjos" played with one of my grandsons on our ukes.
