Happy Sunday from Rosewood Farm! This will be a short post because I'm plum tuckered out. I just got back from beautiful Wilkesboro, NC, where I had the honor of speaking this morning. Mount Pleasant Baptist Church is a FANTASTIC congregation that has three packed morning services.
Speaking there was better than an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet with Ben & Jerry's ice cream for dessert. (Okay, after typing that, I realized that is impossible. Nothing is better than an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet and Ben & Jerry's ice cream. But it was ALMOST as good lol.) This was our theme.
So it only made sense that we passed out these books.
I also set up a book table. Free for the taking :-)
In some ways teaching at another church is always a learning experience for me.
Which is a nice way of saying that I love being with people who are radically committed to simple steps of obedience to the Lord Jesus. I have so much to learn from them and I was SO INSPIRED by their example. There's something to say for that. I am so thankful for everything the Heavenly Father has blessed with me, not least friends like these. Life is good. So good.
