As a novice bodybuilder, my primary goal is building an overall foundation of muscle size and strength before worrying about weak points or lagging muscle groups.
It's all about learning proper lifting technique with lighter weights and developing a good mind-muscle connection while gradually getting stronger on all the major key lifts.
You want to get into a rhythm of training and staying consistent with your workout plan.
As a bodybuilding beginner, your focus is on those initial muscle building stages and on developing your overall physique as a whole.
It's blatantly obvious that I have a long ways to go.
As a gym beginner there are a lot of things I've gotten wrong and many silly things I did throughout the initial stages of my fitness journey and so it's quite entertaining to look back and see how far I've come. If you yourself are a novice then keep in mind that it takes time to learn the ropes when it comes to building muscle and building strength.
