Two years ago I said goodbye to my last Sheltie.
I've owned Shelties for as long as I can remember. Which means I miss having one around. Shelties are perfect dogs. They are beautiful and smart. They are eager to please and will do anything to make their owners laugh. I was blessed to have such beautiful dogs for all those years.
There's a chance that a Sheltie might become available to me in the coming months. Am I ready for a puppy? Would I have the time to spend with this highly sociable breed? I don't know. I may need to wait a bit longer. But still, I miss having a four-legged buddy around.
