My New TORINS!

Somebody please hit me with the stupid stick. I put WAY too many miles on my last pair of Altras. 600 to be exact. I normally don't like to put more than 300 on a pair.

Like these new Torins?

I got them today at the Run-N-Tri Outfitters store in Wake Forest. (This store rocks.) I use this footwear for (1) everyday walking and running, (2) long weekend mileage, and (3) races. The shoes are great at offering impact protection without feeling heavy or slow. The toe box, however, is what makes this the gold standard for me. It allows your toes to splay out naturally, which helps prevent blisters, bunions, and cramping. Also, the balanced cushioning you'll find in this brand keeps the heel and forefoot the same distance from the ground ("zero drop"), which promotes a more natural running stride and helps with posture alignment.

I'm eager to try them out tomorrow Lord willing!
