The Swiss have an undeserved reputation for being unfriendly. They may be reserved but they are never snobbish. Swiss people are cool. They are very family-oriented. Most are well-educated and well-traveled. They are polite and considerate. And if you can speak German with them, they are thrilled.

The Swiss are very industrious. They never make excuses for mediocrity. They take care of their land, and they take care of each other. In short, they are warm and welcoming. Please don't stay away from Switzerland because you think you will be treated rudely.
