In Biola's halls, a journey begun.
Two hearts intertwined, two cultures combined,
In laughter and in love, their souls aligned.
Through seasons of life, their love only grew,
From sunsets on beaches to quiet days and nights.
Thirty-seven years, a bond so true,
Then death took her, now lost to sight.
This week their golden anniversary would play.
Fifty years of dreams, now dark as night.
Cancer's cruel hand took her away,
Yet in his heart, her spirit shines bright.
In memories cherished, their story lives on,
A testament to grace, though she is gone.
The Lord is good -- he gave, then took.
