A Day on the Farm

Hey folks. I hope you and yours are doing well. Just a brief update on my activities today, which included a 4 mile run at the high school before beginning my chores for the day.

The weather has again turned dry so I was able to mow several acres while my kids were busy with their haying work.

Right now they're cutting about 200 acres of fescue and all of that acreage needs to be sprayed with fertilizer and weed killer.

It's a never-ending job. There are always serendipities, of course. 😁

Our farm life isn't all that much different from your life, I imagine. You cook, wash dishes, clean the house, do laundry, plus all the farm stuff.

There's always something that needs doing. But that's good. It keeps you moving.

20 years ago God made me a farmer. Now the grandkids love tractors and animals. Some years are better than others, but the Lord is good all the time.

God bless you guys.
