If you want to start lifting for fun, fitness, weight loss, or any other reason, you'll be surprised how enjoyable an experience it is. But be warned. The sport may become an addiction. You'll soon appear more fit, feel healthier, and enjoy treating your body right. To get started, you don't have to know a lot about lifting. Nobody is born with these skills. They are learned. With the help of others, you will learn and/or improve in any area you're lacking. Before you know it, you will become a gym rat.
