The kids put the farm to bed today, all 123 acres of it, bush hogging the fields and driveways. They had a good crop of hay this year. So grateful.
The grandboys are amazing. One of them even made his own banjo from scratch.
Once again, I'm thankful for family. They work hard and love each other. I love the family and adventure aspects of farming. I also love that you never know what you're going to see. The boys rolling on the grass was a sight to behold. And did I tell you that baby Reuben has the most beautiful blue eyes?
Grace has been out of control for the past two thousands years, and even country bumkins like us get to enjoy it.
