The remnants of Hurricane Debby passed through the area yesterday, which meant no walking, outdoors at least. I tried the Y but lasted only about 2 minutes. I simply can't stand tread dread-mills. Thankfully, we got a reprieve today. I ran from Farmville to Camp Paradise on the High Bridge Trail, then turned around.
The conditions weren't exactly perfect, but anything beats running indoors.
I ran for 10 miles.
I was thus able to get in today's 10,000 steps plus make up for the loss of yesterday's.
Afterwards I treated myself to chori pollo. Food never tasted better.
As you chase down your fitness goals, remember to stay flexible. You can take a day off and then make it up the next day. The win is coming. Don't let the when worry you.
