It's adjective day in Greek!
Adjectives are indispensable. Just think of all the movie titles we'd be without if there weren't any adjectives in English:
- Sleepless in Seattle
- Obsessed
- Unfaithful
- Big
- Picture Perfect
- Clueless
- Closer
and my favorite:
- Dumb and Dumber
In the New Testament, Paul's use of adjectives in 1 Tim. 3 to describe overseers is another good example of how necessary these little words are:
- Blameless
- Temperate
- Prudent
- Respectable
- Hospitable
- Teachable (or, able to teach)
- Gentle
- Peaceable
Gotta love them adjectives!
