It was on but now it's off. And cancelled only a couple of weeks before the race. For the life of me, I can't understand why an organization would claim to be putting on a major race and then at the last minute say they can't do it for "logistical" reasons. That's what we call not planning. Oh well, as my kids said to me last night, "Dad, God has other plans for you for that weekend." Wise, eh?
There's always another race.
Don't worry. I will run on. I will swim on. I will bike on. I will climb on. I'll stay focused on the little things that make me truly happy and aren't going away soon.
