Sin Is the Problem
A notable trend today in the church is to embrace certain causes that are "newer" and "better." Often this means adapting moral theology to Marxist insights. This desire to be respected by the world will always backfire and lead to conclusions that are detached from the foundation of the faith (the Scriptures) and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It fails to fully take into account the depth of the fall. Efforts at social justice can't succeed unless the underlying problem of sin is dealt with.
