Evening guys. This post is mostly pictures. I began the day by driving up to the Pocahontas State Park near Richmond.
Runners were here to participate in a 5K, 10K, or half marathon. I chose the half.
Today's race was a fundraiser for our service men and women stationed abroad.
The race started at 9:00 sharp.
Although it was cold, the trail was dry and easy on the feet.
In the half, we ran the 10K course twice.
I knew I was in trouble when about mile 6 I was passed by a lady and her dog and baby in a stroller!
Nearing the finish line.
All in all, it was a great training run for May's marathon in Ohio. Also, it was completely beautiful. Half marathon #33 in the books. 😊
Different subject: I'm going to hear the Fab Four tonight. I do like the Beatles music and I saw these guys a couple of years ago in Dallas. It'll be fun to see how well they perform tonight.
